Tata Starbus Electric bus showcased with 200 km travel range

Tata Motors showcased the Tata Starbus 4/12m Low Entry Electric Bus, the model with Tata’s first full-electric drivetrain, at the Auto Expo 2020. The electric bus’s range and battery capacity are both scalable as per requirements. 

The 4/12m Low Entry gets a 250 kWh battery pack and the motor makes a maximum power of 245 kW (328.55 hp). The bus has a top speed of up to 75 km/h and can return a range of more than 200 km on a single charge. Tata has equipped the bus with fast charging and can be charged to full capacity in two to three hours.
