RR Global enters Indian electric two-wheeler segment under Bgauss brand

RR Global, an 800 million USD corporation, is foraying into the electric two-wheeler segment in India and will be launching its products under the ‘Bgauss’ brand. The accompanying image is a screengrab from the Bgauss brand website.

The company has announced that Bgauss will offer a range of premium electric vehicles that will come with a fluid design, comfort, great power, low maintenance, quick charging, IOT updates and more features. To start with, the Bgauss brand will initially launch 2 products with a total of 5 variants in India.

The manufacturing and assembly of the electric scooter have already begun at the company’s plant in Chakan, Pune and the company is planning to produce 80,000 units in FY 2020-21. In its first phase, Bgauss will have a sales and service network spread over South and West India.

Hemant Kabra, Director, RR Global & Founder and Managing Director of Bgauss says that the company truly believes that electric mobility will be the future of transport. The company’s strong background in electrical businesses with a robust research and development has complemented their efforts in the EV segment. Mr Kabra has further said that there has been a shift with fast adaptation of technology globally and though the Indian market is in its nascent stage, it offers huge potential and Bgauss will offer a smart and sensible vehicle solution for city commute.
