Omega Singha & Singha Max electric cargo trikes launched [Video]

Omega Seiki Mobility showcased two cargo electric three-wheelers – Singha and Singha Max – at the Auto Expo 2020. The two electric three-wheelers come equipped with swappable batteries and a cargo capacity of 500 kg. The electric three-wheelers are targeted at commercial cargo segment and last-mile delivery operators, and are priced at Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 3.6 lakh respectively.

Omega Singha electric three-wheeler is an open body vehicle and gets a 7.6 kWh Lithium-ion battery that drives a 3 kW motor and makes a torque of 30 Nm. The Singha has a top speed of 45 km/h and the battery can be charged in two hours. The driver cabin gets a roll cage structure for safety. The Singha also features a smart digital instrument cluster that can connect with an app to access information like range, battery status, GPS, route tracking, navigation and more.

Omega Singha Max, on the other hand, is a closed body electric three-wheeler that comes with a battery capacity of 10.5 kWh that can be charged to its full capacity in three hours. The motor has an output of 6 kW and makes a torque of 80 Nm. Both CEVs offer a driving range of 100 km.

Omega Seiki has stated that all the components are sourced in India. The company has set up a manufacturing facility in Faridabad that has a production capacity of 12,000 units annually, which will be increased to match growth in sales. Omega Seiki will also be investing Rs 200 crores into its operations in multiple phases.
