Kabira KM 4000 (Revolt bike rival) spied ahead of launch next month

Kabira Mobility is testing one of its upcoming electric bikes, the Kabira KM 4000 – “The Street Brawler.” First spy shots of the Kabira KM 4000 was sent to us on Instagram by Dhruvik Patel from Goa, which is where the EV maker is headquartered. The company plans to launch it in India next month.

The Kabira KM 4000 will be a naked electric motorcycle like the Revolt RV 300 and the Revolt RV 400, the only recognized ‘sporty’ electric motorcycles currently on sale in India in a few cities. The spy pictures indicate the availability of features like split seats, a digital instrument console, and a meter visor. A ‘park assist’ feature will also be available on the Kabira KM 4000, and it is safe to assume that all the lights will be LED.

Powered by a hub-mounted, Delta EV-made BLDC motor, the Kabira KM 4000 would be able to achieve a top speed of 120 km/h. The battery pack’s capacity and type (modular or fixed) is to be ascertained, but the range is said to be 150 km. Interestingly, stopping power at the front will come from dual disc brakes, not a single disc brake, which should ensure that the bike comes to a halt much quicker. At the rear, there will be a single disc brake.

Along with the Kabira KM 4000, Kabira Mobility will launch another model, called Kabira KM 3000 – “The City Racer”. The latter is a fully-faired model which the company says will be “a completely new breed of electric bikes.” Both the models could cost between INR 1-1.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
