Hero Electric has unveiled a wide range of new electric vehicles at the Auto Expo 2020 that include new AE-47 electric motorcycle, AE-3 electric trike, AE-29 electric scooter and more.
The AE-47 is powered by a lightweight portable lithium-ion 48V/3.5 kWh battery and a 4000 W motor. The bike has a top speed of 85 km/h and can go from 0 to 60 km/h in 9 seconds. AE-47 offers a range of 85 km/charge in Power mode, 160 km/charge in Eco mode and the battery can be charged in 4 hours. The electric motorcycle features cruise control, digital instrument cluster, keyless access, dual disc brakes (front 290 mm & rear 215 mm), rear mono shock suspension, mobile charger, walk assist and reverse feature. Information of the motorcycle like GPS, GPRS, Realtime tracking and geofencing can be accessed through an app.
AE-29 is the new high-speed electric scooter that has a top speed of 55 km/h and is powered by a with a 1000W motor and 3.5 kWh Li battery. The scooter can be charged in four hours and features digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, walk assist, anti-theft smart lock, reverse facility, mobile charger and mobile app.
The AE-3 electric trike is the first of its kind and is equipped with a self-standing Gyroscopic stability feature with Auto balance park switch. Powered by a 4 kWh Li battery, the AE-3 can be fully charged in five hours and offers a range of 100 km in a single charge. With a top speed of 80 km/h, the trike gets features that include reverse assist at 26 km/h, digital instrument cluster, mobile charger, walk assist, mobile app, GPS, GPRS, real-time tracking and geo-fencing.
The company also showcased AE-75 electric scooter with a top speed of 45 km/hr and range of 80 km/ch, and AE-8 with 25 km/hr speed and range of 80 km/ch.
