Gemopai electric scooters get festive season discounts of up to INR 5,500

With the festive season comes discounts and attractive offers on new vehicle purchases. Gemopai Electric has announced cash discounts of up to INR 5,500 and several other offers.

Gemopai is a Joint venture between Delhi-based Goreen E-Mobility and China’s Opai Electric. This joint venture allows transfer of technology and development of new electric two-wheelers for the Indian market.

Gemopai Electric is offering festive season offers for all three electric scooters – Miso, Astrid Lite and Ryder. Cash discounts for these models range from INR 2,000 to INR 5,500. The Gemopai Astrid Lite offers include even free accessories. The festive season offers are applicable till 20 November 2020. Additionally, there’s an exchange bonus of INR 1,000 on swapping a petrol scooter through CredR.

In other Gemopai Electric updates, Kshitij Kumar, the company’s co-founder suggested in July that the company plans to launch new products covering more price segments. It wants to introduce a Gemopai electric scooter in the INR 60,000-70,000 range and also release a model costing less than INR 30,000. Up ahead it plans to come out with a Gemopai electric bike (motorcycle) with the retail price expected to be in the INR 1.5 lakh price segment.

In June, Gemopai Electric introduced a new 3-year service warranty scheme on all of its electric scooter models – Miso, Astrid Lite and Ryder. The new scheme called the ‘Gemopai Secure’ includes 12 free services for up to three years and aims to further lower the cost of ownership of Gemopai electric scooters.

Commenting on the Gemopai Secure initiative, Amit Raj Singh, Co-Founder, Gemopai Electric, said that this is Gemopai’s way of supporting the customers in their decision to adopt electric mobility and want a hassle-free experience in owning a Gemopai scooter.

Gemopai Miso ‘social distancing’ electric scooter

The newest Gemopai vehicle is the Miso which is said to be India’s first social distancing electric scooter. It comes at an ex-showroom price of INR 44,000.

The Miso aims to be a micro-mobility solution for consumers looking for an inexpensive and safe option for their everyday commute. Miso, the barest form of an electric scooter, can travel up to 75 km per charge and can be charged up to 90% in just 2 hours. It is available through all 60+ Gemopai dealerships across the country. The company offers a 3-year free service package for consumers which is a first in the electric scooter industry
