February 6, 2020 –

Pune-based Everve Motors has unveiled a premium and feature-rich electric scooter prorotype that will be launched in the last quarter of 2020. The team at Everve managed to conceptualize and build the prototype in just three months.

The e-scooter, which is called the EF1 for the moment, will be available with a 3.3 kW motor. The company says that the scooter can achieve a top speed of 110 km/h but is limited to 90 km/h. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 8.73 seconds and gets ABS and racing-grade brakes. The battery (4.2 kWh unit) can be charged to its full capacity in 5 hours and up to 50 per cent in 1.5 hours with a fast charger.

The scooter will also be offered with an app that provides rider information like range, battery status, maps, location, error codes, mode info, boost, OTA and others.

Everve EF1 features

  • Lightweight Hybrid Tubular Chassis
  • Lengthy wheelbase for better stability
  • Racing-grade brakes and suspension
  • Dashboard display that is customizable
  • On-board Navigation
  • Keyless Start
  • Geofencing
  • Reversing mode

When your work is your passion, it should no more be called work. Creating such products has always been my vision. And when the world is heading towards some serious climate change, it becomes inevitable to find solutions to proclaim environmental harmony. With this prototype, my team and I get a chance to embrace ‘sustainability’.
