DAO EVTech is all set to launch its first product in India by the year 2020. DAO EVTech is a Chinese electric two-wheeler maker that claims to have over 25 years of global experience in the electric segment. The company showcased products at the EVEXPO 2019, held from 20-22 December in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. 

The DAO GT electric scooter is one of the products displayed that uses a 72 Volt Lithium-ion battery pack connected to a 1.5 kW motor. This configuration allows the e-scooter to achieve a top speed of 49 km/h and a maximum driving range of 120 km on a single charge. The DAO GT can be fully charged in three to four hours from a household outlet and comes equipped with a fully digital instrument panel that offers information like speed, battery range, trip meter, etc. Riders can pair their smartphones via an app and access features like vehicle analytics, charging status, estimated driving range, etc. Riders can also set geo-fencing and lock vehicle battery using the app.

DAO GT electric scooter uses a 1.5 kW motor that runs on a Lithium-ion battery to achieve a top-speed of 49 km/h and a maximum driving range of 120 km.

DAO GT also has three different riding modes – Economy, Sports and Turbo – each offering a top-speed to of 49 km/h, 45 km/h and 38 km/h respectively. The electric scooter also comes with a special Emergency Rescue System, which bypasses all the sensors in case of a breakdown allowing the rider to reach the nearest service station.

At the event, Michael Liu, Chairman & CEO, Lana Zou, COO (Chief Operating Officer) and Achutuni Balaji CFO (Chief Financial Officer) presented the E-vehicle on behalf of the entire team of Dao EVTECH.

DAO GT electric scooter will come with the best warranty program in the market and the company will invest around $100 million in the next 3 years.

Mr. Lana Zou has stated that the company’s warranty program will be the best on the market which comes from its rigorous product development and manufacturing process. Mr. Achutuni Balaji has said that DAO EVTech will invest around $100 million in the next 3 years for components manufacturing and assembly line, if things go as per plan.
