This is not the first time Hemank converted a regular IC powered vehicle to electric. He had converted a Chevrolet Beat to an electric car earlier on and it’s safe to say that Hemank is tired of waiting on India’s big names to launch an electric vehicle.
Honda Motor Co. is taking India’s most popular electric two-wheeler brand Hero Electric to court for design infringement, accusing the latter of copying one of its scooters, as per a report on EconomicTimes.Indiatimes.com.
Honda will consider developing a lineup of electric two-wheelers in India after it completes the planned feasibility study, as confirmed by Mr YS Guleria, Senior VP, Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, in interaction with ETAuto.
Honda is planning to conduct a study in India for their existing electric scooters from the first quarter of FY2021. The study would include measuring the feasibility of launching Honda’s electric scooters in India and several other factors.
